Have you imagined how your school would be if there was a Garden at the back?
Let’s become gardeners to make it happen, let’s dig the soil and plant the seeds that will grow into the most beautiful garden in the neighborhood. We will plant flowers and vegetables, games and fun, stories and art, smell and taste. We will get dirty, but learn a lot about how to grow our food and how to care for our natural environment.
“Garden at the back – Back to the garden” is an educational programme for Elementary Schools aimed at deepening the child’s relationship with nature and at understanding all the things nature provides us with, meaning our food, our environment, our quality of life.
The programme takes place in two (2) meetings in each of the six schools of the project, with a duration of 2 hours for 25 children per school.
Programme takes place from June 6th until July 19th, 2018, between 18:00-20:00 at the following schools:
6 and 7 June: 67th Elementary School Σχολείο (Veratiou 16)
26 and 28 June : 77th Elementary School (Kaviron 6)
3 and 5 July: Intercultural Elementary School (Kapatou & Galanaki)
10 and 12 July: 64th Elementary School (Konstantinos Mazarakis 1)
17 and 19 July: 11th Elementary School (Amalias 60)
24 and 26 July: 55th Elementary School (Kristalli 10)
