Marija Kamber has a bachelor and a Master of Economics (University of Rijeka) and holds a MA in Heritage Management degree (University of Kent / AUEB). She has a certificate from the School of New Media (Online Journalism and Online Business), Faculty of Political Science of the University of Zagreb and InMed Institute.
She has worked for the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) as well as for the banking sector and the tourism and hospitality sector as a Retail Manager. Furthermore, she has worked as an Account Manager in the full service marketing agency SPOTSTUDIO and as a Brand Manager in CROATIA FILM. She has participated in numerous conferences either as a presenter or a participant. She specializes in cross-cultural communication and the interpretation of conflicting and socio-culturally sensitive topics and in the Dark Heritage sites.
