As part of the celebration of the European Heritage Days (2015) with the theme “Violence and Tolerance“, Peripatos, in collaboration with the non-profit organisation Diadrasis and the Exile Museum, is organising a two-day series of events, entitled “Art Forms in Exile”.
What forms of art did the exiles use to express themselves in places of exile? The Exile Museum, beyond its rich archival material and everyday objects, houses an important collection of handicrafts and artworks. This collection serves as a starting point to explore how violence and lack of tolerance, unfortunately, remain relevant issues.
