“BAN_me_not” is an interactive live streaming Twitch channel aiming to connect and promote innovative socio-cultural activities organised by Bosch Alumni Network members, related to various thematic fields.
Founded in 2017, the Bosch Alumni Network (aka BAN) brings together about 8,000 former and current fellows, grantees and employees of the Robert Bosch Foundation and its partners, and supports them as agents of change in their communities. The network contributes to an open, ethical and sustainable world by enhancing diverse perspectives, enabling knowledge sharing and empowering members to take collective action.
As BAN members, we proposed a new medium to showcase the multifaceted work of our international community. Live streaming is an up and coming means of communication around which new projects, strategies, or even businesses are being built. It allows people to come together as a community -having the streamer as coordinator- get inspired, start a dialogue and eventually create bonds in a safe way without feeling any pressure to do so. As a result our idea was selected to be supported by BAN!
Our channel BAN_me_not will be running from October till December with a new broadcast once a week. Each stream will have a different theme such as crowdfunding, storytelling, inclusivity, games and many more. We envision this channel to create a casual environment, where BAN members may discuss their work and interact with the audience facilitating growth and exchange in the socio-cultural sector.
The first live stream will take place on October 6th, at 6 pm CET at our Twitch channel.
