The Milos Mining Museum in cooperation with Peripatosorganized a series of events to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Museum, the International Museum Day 2018 themed: “Hyperconnected Museums: New approaches, new publics” and the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018: “Our Heritage: The Past Meets the Future”. A five day event (17-21/05/2018) for everyone.
But, as once is never enough, the activities continued for second year (9-13/05/2019), inviting the public of Milos to tour the museum “differently” in a five-day of exploration and play.
More about our activities:

Educational Programme: Homo Oryctus
I’m Homo Oryctus! No, I’m not a mine, but inside me I have chemicals found in many minerals! Discover them through puzzles and riddles! Where they are, in which functions of our body they are involved and what eating habits provide us with these elements generously? Are you ready to discover Homo Oryctus?
This programme is for pupils of Elementary and Junior high school.
