We invite you to participate in themed gaming experiences in open and public spaces. The busy streets, the flower parks, the impressive hills and the vibrant neighbourhoods are our field of action. We present you the history of the place and its peoples, through riddles to solve and missions to complete. Start searching, observe the place around you, read, ask, find the solution and live the joy of discovering the history you never knew you had next to you.

According to The Florence Charter on the preservation of historic gardens as architectural compositions, their preservation is recommended as living monuments. This wonderful “living heritage”, full of history, sounds, colours and scents, which in addition to knowledge and aesthetic pleasure offers unique peace and tranquility, must be accepted, respected, explored and protected in the best way we can. 

We begin the Play experiences in open green spaces, exploring them through imaginary discussions with the historical personalities of Queen Amalia of Greece, Sophie de Marbois-Lebrun and Iphigenia Mavrokordatou-Sygrou. Three important women, whose life and work are linked to the history of rich gardens and parks of Athens, that we enjoy today.

  • Amalia’s Garden 

    “The palm trees I have planted are already growing wonderfully and I imagine, after 300 years, people will be having their walk under them. Are you ready to enjoy your walk in the National Garden and discover its secrets?

  • The spring of Sophie 

    Nowadays, Sophie de Marbois-Lebrun is best known through her title, Duchess of Placentia. The historical facts, but also the rumors, about her life and work, describe an eccentric personality. Through riddles, codes and storytelling elements, we will discover her story, as the Chalandri ravine’s waters bring it to us from the springs of Penteli all the way until it meets Podoniftis, a tributary of Kifissos river.

  • The legacy of Iphigenia

    A mystery and great cultural wealth are hiding in the foliage of the only remaining natural forest in the wider area of ​​Athens. The Sygrou Grove was bequeathed to Greek society by Iphigenia Mavrokordatou-Sygrou, fulfilling hers and her husband’s, Andreas Sygros, wish. A role-playing game with riddles and missions will lead us to the answer. The question is none other than… What was the real legacy of Iphigenia Mavrokordatou-Sygrou?
